I had a couple of mates around today, and we put the PlayStation 3 on deciding it would be a good idea to play some multiplayer games. Now I know that from my games collection, that Aliens vs Predator, Blazing Angels, Burnout Paradise, Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Killzone 2 & 3, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, Motorstorm, MotoGP 08, Red Dead, Resistance 1 & 2, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen & War for Cybertron, Uncharted 2 AND WRC all have online multiplayer. Now this is a pretty extensive list, and we presumed we could play most offline as well. Well, once we found out which ones had offline multiplayer we were down to Blazing Angels, Killzone 3, Marvel, Mortal Kombat, Resistance and WRC have offline multiplayer. Now it may seem like a petty argument, but it seems to me game developers don't seem to think of people who like to play games with their friends OFFLINE if they're around. Transformers: War for Cybertron has a Co-Op campaign mode online, but offline, you have to be a lone gunslinger. This is getting especially annoying with the PSN outages. Anyone agree?
