Default Boogeyman trilogy

Were part 2 and 3 of the Boogeyman series shot on video?

I'm looking at a steelbook of the trilogy and only the first movie is bluray. Part 2 and 3 are dvd. I've never seen 3 and if they likely will never get blu releases I want to pull the trigger.

What Boogeyman are you talking about? Cause the 2005 one is not on Bluray in the US. All 3 of the Boogeyman movies are released in other countries on Bluray.

Doesn't Sony have rights to the original and third films of the old Boogeyman? As well as the newer, unrelated Boogeyman films. I have a 5-film DVD set from them but it's a few years old. They could be Scream Factory possibilities if so.

I believe 2 was shot on film, and 3 was shot on video.

Was there a Boogeyman 3 in the Lommel series? The 2008 Boogeyman 3 of the newer series was directed by Gary Jones of Mosquito (1994) fame.

Yes, I have a German DVD of the original version of 2. The awful Redux version has new stuff which I think was shot on video, but I'd sooner bone a ghost pepper than re-watch it to check...

Lommel has a new Boogeyman film coming.

Is anyone an Ulli Lommel fan? I think he's in competition with Brett Kelly to be the lowest-rated director on IMDb.

Here, as best I recall, is the breakdown:

* The Boogieman, the original movie, is on blu from 88 films.

* Revenge of the Bogey Man / Boogeyman II, the one where it's 60% original footage and 40% stock from the first movie - is on DVD, but not Blu.

* Boogeyman 2: Director's Cut / Boogeyman Redux, the one where it's 20% original movie footage (but sped WAY up) 50% Revenge of the Bogey Man footage and 30% Ulli sitting in a bare, underlit office being "interrogated" by police, is only on DVD and is mostly shit. I'd bone a ghost pepper with Agent 999's penis before watching it again.

* Return of the Boogeyman, the one where a woman has a psychic connection to the boogieman killer, is on DVD. This one is pretty shit too, but less shit than Redux.

* There's also a TV series in the works, but the plans seem to have stalled out (thank the maker).

Dear god, I know far too much about this "franchise".
