Default Pepsi Throwback

Has anyone tried the new Pepsi Throwback products with sugar instead of corn syrup? These things are the nectar of the gods. They never should have switched to corn syrup.

Pepsi said if the sales are there, there's a chance they'll keep it around.

I'm hoping it happens, cause once you've had pop with real sugar it's hard to go back to corn syrup.

The can looks good, I wanna try it but I fear it won't be on sale over here

PS: I don't care what the ingredients are as long as it tastes good, it could have enriched plutonium for all I care.

If it gets discontinued, Jones Soda cola tastes amazing and is made with pure cane sugar. It's cheaper than Pepsi too, a 12 pack is like $4.

Red Bull cola is also made with sugar, and I like it better than Pepsi Throwback and Jones, but it's not worth $2 a can...

Jones Soda is amazing. I love the crazy flavors.

However, Pepsi is still often cheaper with sales. I can get 5 12-Packs for $11.00 right now at Walgreens.

I love this stuff. You can definetly tell a difference between this and the soda made with corn syrup. I too am more of a coke person, but I have bought this stuff in the hopes that either...

1. Pepsi keeps it going indefinetly
or
2. Coke copies Pepsi and releases real sugar Coke (I really hope for this one )

Either way, real sugar is the way to go!

After getting a couple 12-packs of the throwback Pepsi and Mountain Dews, I can't find them anywhere, so hopefully that means it's selling like crazy, and Pepsi will consider keeping both.

I finished up the last of the throwbacks last week, and then when I switched back to the regular soda, it tasted different.

The throwbacks tasted weird at first, but I realized after a few cans that it feels like a much heavier soda, and found it more thirst-quenching. Regular Pepsi and Mountain Dew seems too bubbly/fizzy and light, and after drinking it I often still feel thirsty.

And yeah, Jones is cheaper than Pepsi... sometimes, but Jones never goes on sale, and I only buy soda when it's 4 or 5 for $10, so it's much cheaper (I got the throwbacks as a special "4 for $10 + get 1 free 12-pack of throwback for free", so I got 4 throwbacks, and some other random soda, like Sierra Mist or something).

The throwback Pepsi is ok, but the Throwback Mountain Dew is awesome. Hope they end up keeping it around.

Haha, yes, he does.

If I can only have one, I definitely want the Pepsi throwback to stay forever, if I can only choose one of the two.

When out at the store earlier today, they were again out of it, so it seems to be selling really well. I hope it's just not some crazy eBay resellers who plan on storing it away for a few years, and selling it later on eBay the way people are selling Crystal Pepsi.
