So for one reason or another, I never watched the USA series "La Femme Nikita" starring Peta Wilson. Not sure why, because the character of Nikita, is one of my all time favorite characters in movies. But with Season 1 of CW's Nikita coming to a close, and my friend continuing to tell me how much he loved the Peta Wilson series, I figured I'd give it a shot.

So I'm about halfway through Episode 1, and it's kinda cool. Acting's a bit rough, but overall decent.

My big complaint here is how much they have essentially RUSHED through the plot of the movie in this initial episode. I mean, in 20 minutes, they've essentially told the majority of the 2+ hour movie, only without the charm and fun.

Sure they got that iconic shot of her jumping through the chute in the kitchen, but overall it's kinda rough, and I wish they had spent maybe the first two episodes telling the basic origin story of Nikita.

That said, here we go, and let's see if I make it through all five seasons.

PETA WILSON stars as Nikita on the USA show, and Maggie Q, who plays Nikita in the new series is a vegetarian who has posed (nearly) nude for PETA.
