Anyone bought this one yet. I think its a great suspense thriller even if the critics was very harsh on it. Its still very entertaining

Had to bump this thread because after all these years I finally decided to rent this movie. I've been on a roll of renting a lot of 80's, 90's poorly reviewed thrillers just for the fun of it.

I don't want to spoil the film of course hard not to because the setup is is easy, but i think 90% of the characters and motivations were really crazy bad! The reactions during the snake sequence just come across as over the top hilarious. It almost makes you wish the family will just all be killed off.

Even though it is a bad film, I don't think it was poorly made even if the acting should have been pulled back some. i wish the film didn't hurt Figgis from doing more studio work just over one poorly reviewed film.
