I read here that some of you have it?? then why the hell doesnt amazon?

I called today and they don't have it in stock yet. Distribution channel problems just like lots of big box stores. My local BestBuy, Walmart, Target, didn't have them either.

My order with Amazon says they expect shipping in a few days.

I picked up mine at Best Buy in Salem, NH tonight. They had about 7 copies left.

I just came back from BBY in Aventura, Florida because I had to exchange a monitor and while I was there I picked up a copy of Troy. It was hidden behind a bunch of other movies and seemed to be the only copy left. They still had like 8 to 10 copies of Few Good Men, Deliverance, Alexander, House of 1000 Corpses, Condemned, We Are Marshall which were also released today, but it seems Troy was pretty much sold out. I'm glad I got my copy.

Sometimes it will say 2 weeks on Amazon when there is a delay. I doubt that it will be more than 2 days before they have it in stock. I noticed the same thing for HD DUD. I purchased Troy at Best Buy today.

Troy was available here in augusta GA, but Smallville was not due to distribution problems maybe same happend with troy near you.

I got the Warner email saying it was availble for all three formats today, so it's definitely out. Now if only they would ship me my copy.

Amazon emailed me this morning to tell me that my copy of Troy shipped and should be here on the 20th. It was pre-ordered.

I did not purchase Troy separately. I have purchased WB’s Best of Blu-Ray Action set. I guess I should get mines on 11/06/2007.

Same here, although I pre-ordered it less than a week ago. Anyway,the same thing happened with 300 and in less than 24 hrs they had it resolved. Although if WB is having distribution problems then it could explain the shortage of supply. If it makes you feel any better there are still plenty of copies left for the HD-DVD version.

I just got done watching Troy on BD. WOW, better then I thought it was going to be. The PQ was a treat for the eyes. The story was amazing.

I highly recommend this movie.

I had never scene this movie before, i'm glad I waited until Blu-ray!!!!

not quite sure why they would only have one, but i got the 1 and only copy of Troy on Blu from my circuit city store today. It was still in the shipping box and everything with one other movie....we are marshall. Also one copy.

because they dont keep everything at their main warehouse. they have to get some things sent to them from other warehouses then they can process it and send it out to you.
i had the same problem with some of my orders and got frustrated and called and asked what the deal was. hope that helps.
