So I wonder if the people in the regular tribe will have any idea who is on the island?

The way I took it was if the first person voted off won all the challanges on that island would be brought back when it gets to final 3. Or do they join the tribe again after they beat out the next (or previous) person voted off right away?

I think it would be cool if there was the potential of the 1st person being voted off and ends up alone on the island the whole time and keeps winning only to join who is left again on the last day. How would a jury vote on that, vote for someone who has played an individual game the whole time and has little relationships with people on the jury. Should be cool.

I saw this last night and freaked out…..i think it’s a great concept but I’m curious how/when they get put back into the game??

If you get voted off, and your alliance stay strong while you’re gone and you come back, that could change the whole course of the game.

You could be down 3 votes to 4, then you get someone from your alliance back and it’s tied all of a sudden!!!

What would make it even better is if they didn’t tell the players about it until they get to the island, that way the people still in the game have no idea, the player voted off just shows up one day!!!

Is this suppose to be how this Redemption Island works.

Lets Say

Player A gets voted out. They go to RI.
Player B gets voted out. They also go to RI.
Then they both try to win the challenge.
Player A beats player B.
Then Player C gets voted out.
Player A and Player C do a challenge.

I am sorry. I am confused.

that is how I understood it. except that I would add
...
Player A beats player B.
player B leaves and A is alone on RI
Then Player C gets voted out.

That will be interesting (assuming the person left early) does not PO people, but does not make friends either.

Yep I saw that too. It's like they went out of their way to hint at it.

The official cast has been announced. Here is the video if anyone is interested. The quasi-celeb theme continues as former NFL players Grant Mattos and Steve Wright are part of the cast. There are also two "mystery" contestants who are blurred out in the video,. I don't think there's any doubt that it's

Holy crap, what is there a new season every 3 months? I thought Jersey Shore kept coming back like an STD, but this has it beat.

We're on season 22. You should watch Samoa. Russell Hantz is a bad ass.

I haven't watched this show since maybe season 5. I may have to check this one out since the format is new.

They average two seasons per year.

I watched one episode of this series when Jimmy Johnson came on, but the rest of the cast was a bunch of idiots, I see why I never watched the previous 20 seasons.
