Missing is an American drama series starring Ashley Judd and Cliff Curtis that is currently being aired on ABC. ABC announced on May 17, 2011, that the series would air as a midseason replacement in 2012. Ten episodes will be produced for the first season.. The series premiered in the United States on March 15, 2012


Plot:

The story is about a worried mother (Ashley Judd) who takes it upon herself to travel to Europe and track down her son (Nick Eversman), who disappears while on a summer internship in Italy. She is a retired CIA agent and uses every means necessary to get her son back.

Just watched the pilot tonight and I really enjoyed it. First off I am a big Ashley Judd fan and was very happy to see her back on the screen in some fashion. Once I saw it was her I was instantly in for this.

It kinda reminds me of a female version of Taken. The previews look really good for upcoming episodes and its action packed! Anyone else see this? Got Em!!

Hubby and I watched this last night...I was just telling him a month or so ago how i hadn't seen her in a movie in forever...she was one of my fav. actresses so i was thrilled to know she was coming to tv - love her. We both really liked the show....heard the viewers came in at just under Charlie's Angels (which was an awful show) ....so i'm hoping word spreads and it gets more viewers so it stays on the air.

but it had over 10 million viewers. Missing skews very old don't know if "Already Been Cancelled" is happy about that

Just saw the pilot not too long ago..it was ok, a decent first episode..

Hmm. Just got done watching the pilot and the acting by Judd seems.........Off. I also don't see the point in the cliffhanger.

It was decent though and I will continue watching for now

Agreed. If you're going to post a spoiler, at least use spoiler tags. Not everyone can watch a show when it airs. I will say this about it though. At least it happens in the opening minutes, so I'll get over it.

I just got done watching the Pilot. I enjoyed it and I'm sticking around.

My only complaint so far is that I could barely see any of the action in the action scenes. Between how dark they were and how they were filmed/edited, I couldn't get into them as much as I should have because I really couldn't tell what had just happened. Borderline shaky cam, quick cuts, and little to no light is a horrible mixture. I usually don't complain about quick cuts, but usually movies don't film fight scenes with quick cuts in the dark.

It was storming the night of the "Pilot" and my satellite cutout so I waited a week till they re-aired the "Pilot" and the 2nd episode and watched them back to back last night on my DVR.

Wow, this is a great show ranks right up there with Person of Interest IMO as for as new shows go. I highly recommend it.

Question? Did I read or hear that she was doing her own stunts? If so that 2nd episode she showed she can do a lot.

I'm liking it a lot. It's got a James Bond, Bourne, and Taken kind of feel to it. Love the locations too. Hope this show lasts.

Have to agree about the location...seems to have a big budget to bee shooting in some of the location...so far the show is good, keeps you interested from one episode to the next

[Show spoiler]I kinda figured sumthin was up with her husband possibly being alive or I knew atleast we were gonna get a lot of flashbacks but damn did they shock us with how he resurfaced!

[Show spoiler]I am happy he is still alive and very curious to see what he is to really. I have a feeling he isnt the bad guy we all think.
