Blu-ray.com Review is Up

I'd never heard of this film until I saw the review listed. Now I'm probably going to blind buy it at first opportunity.

Edit: Oh wait, this is the UK release thread. I guess there's no Region A thread for it yet...

Depicting 24 hours in the life of four Israeli paratroopers at the outset of the 1982 Lebanon invasion, the film follows the soldiers on a mission to clear a Lebanese area of hostile fighters. Filmed almost entirely from inside the tank in which they are travelling, the film follows the men as they cope with the deteriorating state of the tank, the stress, intense heat and cramped conditions inside, the occasional failure of the communication equipment, navigational problems and the inevitable quarrelling.

There was a trailer for Lebanon is on the Micmacs disc. I added it to my Netflix queue right after I saw it. I just hope the interesting subject matter isn't overshadowed by a gimmick like having 100% perspective from the tank turret and (especially) fisheye scope.

Great movie. I have owned the Region B UK version for a bit now, and the movie is definitely highly recommended!

I wanted to blind buy this but it's like, $26.99 so I'm just gonna netflix it. It's at number 1 in my queue!

I got the Blu-Ray from netflix yesterday. My friend wanted me to wait for him to get off work so he could come over and watch it with me on my system. I told him he better hurry since I want to see this so damn bad.
