Default How many times have you watched Band of Brothers?

I know at least 5 times with my DVD set and old 32" Sony VVega. Just started watching my new Blu-ray set purchased off eBay for $33, via my 50" Samsung Plasma and its like watching the series like never having seen it. The wife is even impressed.

Once, and on Blu-ray. I had just wanted to finally see it. I then sold the set to my dad.

i may get flack for this, but i watched it once, and probably won't again.
i'm actually considering selling it because i'm in the mindset of "only buying / keeping films that i'll watch on a regular basis" and BoB doesn't fall into that category.

amazing series? of course.
but, for me, not much replay value.

Twice on the history channel, 4 or 5 times on DVD, once on HD DVD (my dad owns the Japanese import), and twice on BD.

I just watched through the set for the 7th time, its a masterpiece and hands down, an essential top notch set. Firefly is the only set I have that has gotten more playtime.

Once on History HD, once on BD, and watching it again right now on BD.

I watch it once a year - usually around July 4 or Memorial Day.

Thinking of purchasing the BD set from Amazon UK. I'm not a war buff, but the great price there makes it look very attractive.

Only once myself, the Blu-ray set listed on my collection actually belong's to my brother (I should get if off that list )

He must be the king of watching this show :

original airing on TMN
then repeat airing TMN

I then bought him the DVD set when it came out a Christmas gift and I think he's watched it 6 or 7 times.

I then got him him the Blu-ray release (I sold his DVD set) and he as now seen it 6 times.

I watched it once...... watched it as fast as Netflix could send the discs (2 at a time) and I just bought it, and UPS dropped it off last week, so I hope to watch them all again eventually, but I have a lot of titles that need to be viewed still....

You win!!!

BTW, where in central Illinois are you from? I grew up in the Salem/Centralia/Mt.Vernon area, but lived in Charleston and Chicago as an adult for a while.

Once!

It's not something you can just pop in anytime it's very intense and depressing.

I have to get into my "ww2 mode" first

Great set though!
