So You Think You Can Dance - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone watch this? New season starts May 27th, I believe. I stopped watching American Idol when they let them play instruments, though I didn't watch it much before then. I can't stand Dancing with the Stars. SYTYCD is the only "reality" show I watch. There are some amazingly talented dancers, and some of the routines are awesome! I've saved several episodes in my DVR just to re-watch the routines! What do you guys think of this show?

i like this show but not better (Dancing with the Stars) they are doing 12 "All-Star" dancers that will pair with the contestants over the season

to me if a show make all these changes i think this show will be cancel

Yes! Love this show! I've been watching it for two years now. Cat Deeley is a better host than Ryan Seacreast is, I think.

Comfort was NOT an all-star! Cat Deely is better than Ryan! And I agree with the changes not looking good. However, SYTYCD has made changes in every year so far.

Can't wait for this to begin! Love it...and the new twist this season is they're only finding the top 10 dancers!

I agree, not too fond of that change. I don't know why they can't stick with a winning formula.

I love this show. When i heard they was going to have the all stars dancing also, i was happy, until i realized Kherington Payne was not one of the all stars

. She was Twitch's partner in season 4 and so so hot

.

Side note; Every time I see Nygil, he reminds me of Hugh Jackman's drunk look-a-like in The Prestige

First episode was good. Still hate that they are not doing the top 20. I first thought that it would be top 20, then when they got down to 10, they'd bring in the past contestants. This way I believe is very unfair to this seasons contestants.

Not that i am complaining, where is Mary Murphy? I am very thankful I ain't seen her yet. And i am very glad to see Mia Michaels is back.

I imagine she'll be around soon. I like her, but I can really do without the screaming! Also glad to see Mia back, and I hope Shane Sparks is back again this year too.

My wife and I love this show. I'm not overly concerned about the "All-star" format, to be honest. It's just another change...

I'd also agree that Comfort is NOT an all-star. A bunch of the others are great though, suck as Mark, Courtney, Ade, Kathryn, Lauren, Neil, and Twitch.

Pasha was one of my all time favorites. Glad to see him back! I wish Sabra would come back, she was my all-time favorite. Comfort got voted off not once, but twice! Really really not an all-star.

I just watched Tuesday night's show, the Chicago audition, and I am in love with that judge/choreographer Stacey Tookey. I guess i don't remember her from last season, but i can't wait to see more of her this season.

Yeah, she's really beautiful. My wife even said, "She's naturally really beautiful," and I wholeheartedly agreed. She's a good choreographer as well.

My absolute favorite, the Iranian girl (whose name I cannot remember) dropped out! Oh well, we'll make do with the others. The boy from Wapakoneta, or whatever, Kent, is mine and my wife's favorite guy. I think Lauren from Pheonix will be may favorite girl. You guys have fav's yet?

Not sure whose my favorite yet. I will have to see another episode, i am still one episode behind.

On a side note, that one kid with Scoliosis could do the robot expertly.

He was pretty awesome.

I'd agree with Lauren on the girl's side. I've got to go with Billy Bell on the men's side though. That kid is just gifted...
