Non procedural Character driven With a compelling ongoing story arc and dynamic villian played by Delroy Lindo. Actually filmed in title city, not Vancouver or Toronto doubling as Chicago. Yeah it was doomed, F0X has a SHAMEful legacy of cancelling critically acclaimed shows that go against the grain. Ryan is from Illinois, so F0X cancelling this show had to sting. Mental note to self, must catch up on eppys before the finale airs. Last edited by ForEver Blu; 05-12-2011 at 01:07 AM. |

K-Ville was another cop drama that got shafted by F0X. Though not as stong as Chicago Code, it had two great leads with Anthony Anderson and the criminlly underrated Cole Hauser. Given a fair shot, i think the writing would've gotten better as the series went on. Then there was poor New Amsterdam, remember that one? |

If a show has sucky ratings, it's not "shafted" ya know. They aren't here to make great tv. They are here to make money. A 1.6 is NOT worth keeping on FOX. It sucks. The show was great. But it got canned because it got bad ratings. The only thing that could have been different was a post superbowl spot. And even then, it had House as a lead in, with a TON of marketing.

Both Variety and Deadline Hollywood are saying it doesn't look like Wonder Woman will be picked up.
From Variety: "Sources say a renewal for the David E. Kelley midseason drama "Harry's Law" is likely, but it's not looking so good for Kelley's take on the "Wonder Woman" remake starring "Friday Night Lights" alum Adrianne Palicki." From Deadline: "Warner Bros, which has the Chelsea Handler comedy in contention, while its Wonder Woman appears doubtful and Mann's World highly unlikely at the moment." http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118036823 http://www.deadline.com/2011/05/nbc-...s-more-coming/ |

I assume you're wondering about Terra Nova, which was technically picked up in the 2010 pickup rather than this year's pickup and was supposed to premiere this month, but the visual effects weren't ready so it will premiere in the fall. Spielberg is also executive producer on NBC's Smash and TNT's Falling Skies, as well as Locke & Key which didn't get picked up.

Not according to Deadline:
"A Locke & Key limited series/miniseries was a stretch, and it seems that it is not happening. The show is now heading to the death pile." http://www.deadline.com/2011/05/fox-...irl-to-series/ |
