So I took everybody's advice here, and ordered it. Got it from Barnes And Noble for 30 bucks. Looking forward to starting on the low end of the quality ( workprint in 2.0 ) up to the Final which I expect to blow my socks off visually and aurally...

I did at first. Then I started watching the 2+ hour documentary and it sort of changed my mind about the movie.

I kind of regretted it.

Mine came with a duplicated disc

have they fixed the duplicate disc issue yet? I've been holding off on buying it until it has been resovled.

Yeah when I was younger I didn't really understand what was going on in the movie. I was just a big fan of Harrison Ford. After repeat viewings and reading about the movie it is one of my fav now. The movie has almost the same charm that Dune does

I bought mine at B&N, got it in the 5 disc Elite case and no duplicate discs... so they have fixed it... at least in some...

when i got mine it had the duplicate workprint,,, called and got a replacement within 2 weeks

Its no longer on sale at Amazon. Do you think they are finally running out of this limited release? I need to order one soon.

I thought that it wasn't being sold due to the duplicate disc issue

I saw a message a week ago saying that there was an issue with the product and that it was under review. It strikes me as odd that this would be a limited release.

Are you guys talking about the stand alone 5 disc, or the one that comes in the attache case? I got the attache version for x-mas the year it came out ans my set was fine. Didn't know WB screwed that one up.

I think it is because of the discs issue that amazon is not selling it. I got a copy at BB, pm from WM for 21.86. My disc was fine.

I ordered mine at Amazon.com for 22 bucks. Should be here next week.

I haven't seen it in a long time, but I used to be a huge Harrison Ford fan, and I thought the movie was amazing. It's going to be the first time to get to see the final cut of this movie.

You know, I have given this movie 3 solid tries and I just can't get into it. I don't know what it is. I like Ridley Scott, I like Harrison ford, I like sci-fi, and I like the premise of the movie. I don't know what it is. I rented the Final Cut Blu a few weeks ago, and again, I just can't get absorbed into it. I just don't "get it". I will say however that the AQ/PQ is outstanding especially for a movie of its age. I was blown away with the audio in the first couple minutes even. Just wish I could like this movie......
