Rising fear chokes the free-wheeling underbelly of San Francisco’s Music/Art/Drug/Punk scene as a killer stalks the night to feed an unspeakable appetite. Community suspicion focuses on the punk band Disease, tainted by groupie deaths allegedly induced by the drug DZS, and on “The Creeper”, a misshapen outcast from the bowels of the city. Investigation becomes obsession for the strong and beautiful female journalist Jean Michaelson when she probes the gruesome murders with police Inspector Alonso Bernardo. Her story hits closer to home than ever she imagined, as the quickening web of death devours neighbors, friends and lovers in her neighborhood of artist warehouses. The film plays as a mystery, as Jean, the Inspector and the community try to unravel clues to find who is responsible for the grisly murders. The story and characters interweave live New Wave/Punk music, sex, drugs and the urban environs of a 1980’s Bay Area leather-clad milieu. Retro at its best!

This is a limited edition release, only 200 will be sold (professionally run, printed and shrink wrapped BD-R's, however, if all 200 sell out by 4/8. we will up the run to 1000 pressed disc units, so order early and show your support)! Copies are expected to ship around end of May 2021.

In case the wording regarding the limited-edition release is unclear, the initial plan is a limited-edition run of 200 BD-R's... and as collectors I know we would all prefer a pressed Blu-ray Disc to a BD-R. Well, if pre-orders reach 200 by April 8th, they will upgrade the release to pressed Blu-ray and 1000 total units. Meaning, no BD-Rs will be made -- everyone will get pressed Blu-rays. I just wanted to make that clear because someone on Reddit assumed that early buyers would get stuck with BD-Rs, while latecomers would get pressed Blus. That is not the case! If 200 is reached, we all get pressed Blus!
EDIT (Monday, April 12): The goal has been reached! We're all getting pressed Blus and it's being expanded to 1,000 units!
And, by the way, this movie is ****ing rad, one of the most fun, stylish, and bonkers SOV horror movies I've ever seen. Yes, it was shot on video, so I want to emphasize that in case that's a deal-breaker for anyone. Not me. I'm fascinated by SOV horror oddities like this one. And I'm posting this thread for a very selfish reason -- I want
Night Feeder on pressed Blu-ray, not a stinkin' BD-R! So I hope this thread inspires some
pre-orders and the release is upgraded. Those of you who would enjoy this sublime trash, I think you know who you are, but if you need more convincing...
Bleeding Skull sums it up better than I can:
Quote:
A hateful and massively enjoyable shot-on-video darkwave horror blast from the leather-clad armpits of the Bay Area. This gore-scarred, creature-fueled whodunnit culminates in one of the most rewarding slasher reveals in camcorder history, but the journey is every bit as powerful. Especially when the singer of coal-hearted goth-punk combo The Nuns stares directly into the camera and croons: “You SLIT your WRISTS. You ****in’ *****.” A staggering celebration of drugs, fear and new wave rage, Night Feeder was completed at the tail end of San Francisco’s robust post-punk era and was only ever released on PAL-format VHS in Poland. Featuring effects that rival Hollywood’s best gore-monsterwork, it’s a nasal, vicious battle cry and one of the best homemade horror films you’ll ever see, hands down.
