Space Battleship Yamato (2010) - Blu-ray Forum

Space Battleship Yamato is due out on September 30, 2011 in Germany by WVG Medien GmbH. It will be available as a regular amaray and a steelbook. According to Bluray-disc.de, the disc will contain Japanese and German DTS-HD MA 5.1 tracks as well as German and Dutch subtitles.

I would guess the rating would have to be a sticker, seeing as its covering up two actor photos?

Possibly, this is the same studio that released Goemon and it was a sticker for the rating.

Its more inventive than any of the recent Earth invasion movies from the US. It has a kind of 1950's vibe to it with updated special effects. I liked it.

Lack of English subtitles is a problem. Looks like a double dip.

Since it's subtitled and dubbed in German, it won't be a problem for me. I plan on getting it for my birthday since it comes out about a week after my 22nd.
