Anyone else think 2 Blu-Rays to cover a 50 year history seems a little light?

It is. Maybe this will end up being "volume 1", with more volumes coming later, like the "Best Of The WWF" VHS line in the 80s/90s.

Speaking of which, I hope they include some of the epic Coliseum Video intros they used in the 80's.

I just looked on YouTube for one of those intros, and was surprised to see so many of those VHS releases on YT, in their entirety.

I long for the releases and docs on Rick Rude, Demolition, RVD and several others... yet we get a release like this? Some of these guys have stories worth telling. It's not like WWE/F died in a fiery explosion. Oh well...

Agreed. In a fantasy world, WWE would hire around 10 long time fans to head up the home video division. There's no doubt they would do a better job.

I got one of the WWE retrospective 2 disk sets and I was very disappointed. Most of it consisted of modern clip reels that didn't show much of anything. The actual fights themselves were listed as "extras" and they didn't all include the intros. Very disappointing. I think WWE doesn't have a clue what people want. They just package it like bologna and shove it out the door.
