Likely upgrades to Sammy BD-P1000 - Blu-ray Forum

Greetings from Australia.

Great forum and has assisted me considerbaly in the past.

I own this first gen player purchased from the states and it has been flawless, never misses a beat and plays everything with the latest firmware. My question is what are the chances of an upgrade similar to the BD-P1400 that will enable DTS MA High Res or even Dolby True HD?

Any clues?

Unlikely. It apparently doesn't have the horsepower
