Question Video activation error - thoughts?

So in my place, there are 3 ps3s currently.

Long story short, there's the first: the family unit, the second, my own: a 120gb slim, and third, a brand new 320gb for myself again. I did a data transfer from 120gb to my new one, and plan to sell the old girl off. All three ran my psn id at some point. Additionally, my sibling has a psp, which has held my id. All 4 units in total have downloaded both video and game content from psn.

Everything went great with the data transfer, all my games work fine, however when I went to activate video content, I get an error:This PS3 system cannot be activated. This content cannot be used. 1 PS3 systems are already activated for your account. To activate this system, you must deactivate another PS3 system.

I went back to the other two ps3s, and deactivated them. Even completely reformated the 120gb (gonna sell it after all). Both gave confirmation for deactivation complete. Went back to the new ps3, got the same error. Deactivated video on the psp....same error....

Am I missing something here?

Was this done very recently? Perhaps there's a point where Sony's system as far as this is concerned needs to update and it hasn't passed yet?

I'm soon to be in the same boat (getting a YLOD unit fixed and transferring locked saves/video activation over to a slim) so I'd be interested in hearing a follow-up if you do/don't get it to work.

By the way, you can always just create another (extra) user ID/PSN account on the new PS3 and watch the video through that. It's what I'm doing until the above repair is performed.

Yeah, it actually all was pretty recent.

I think the data transfer was Monday (E3 made this week one big blur )...and I deactivated the ps3s and psp a couple hours ago...maybe things will work in another 24hrs or so? My concern is that I currently have access to all the hardware, so if its anything its some network/software bug going on.

Also yeah, I could just make a video profile...but to be perfectly honest I don't even buy video content, just get the occasional free episode. So if it doesn't work out, its not the end of the world, its just a pick at my ocd

I guess if I don't see progress by the weekend, I could try calling Sony.

call Sony, I spoke to them recently about other stuff but activation came up in the conversation; they should be able to assist.
