Saw this last night. Awesome sound and visuals when you see it in IMAX (I think this is an IMAX only movie anyways).

Quite enjoyed this, and hoping for a Dec release in time for holiday viewing, but wouldn't be surprised if it goes into Jan. Should be another A/V demo-caliber title, and wondering if they'll include the Atmos track (was also shot in 'Auro 11.1') ...

the Auro 11.1 mix didn't hold a candle to the Atmos mix, which used the ceiling sound cues to utterly thrilling effect (and it helps to have swirling wind directly behind you, which was completely missing in the Auro mix)

I really enjoyed Everest when I saw it at the theater, but I'm not so sure about its replay value.

I do believe that it will probably be a fantastic-looking Blu-ray in terms of transfer, though. It's a great-looking film.
