Default Factory in France to produce Blu-ray

I see yet another European factory is set to replicate BDs.

QOL has organised and taken part in several conferences on that subject and produced in May 2006 the very first HD DVD in Europe, the movie "2046" which was presented to its famous director and president of the Cannes Film Festival 2006, Mister Wong Kar Waï and also made the replication of the very first "Certified THX" HD DVD in the world named "Pan's Labyrinth" also presented to its director Guillermo Del Toro.
So, this is a decision based on already being in the HD DVD camp. This is very, very positive news.

I guess they see a future for Blu-ray, huh?

Hasn't Blu-ray achieved 75% and more everywhere in the world except the U.S. (and maybe India)? And that percentage is growing so fast as that it's pretty much over with in Europe? And near 100% in Australia? And that HD DVD variant China came up with has so far gone nowhere? And despite proclamations in favor of HD DVD, basically next to nothing has been done in India?
