Thanks! Judged by the screen caps the Blu-ray is a big improvement over the DVD. Gonna buy this no matter what, but nice to see that MGM deliveres a decent version.

Looks decent. I'm still anticipating a box set like they did on DVD. It would be cool if they had the same box, only smaller. Band of Brothers style! I liked the Pink Panther Collection boxset.

+1. I have the DVD Boxset and love it. I'm a huge Peter Sellers fan, so I'll definately be picking this up.

Now if only THE PARTY were planned for a BD release! That would be sweet!

Let's just hope they include the Return of the Pink Panther movie if a Blu-ray box is released. I'm sure there's some studio rights questions involved due to the fact that this is missing from the DVD box, but a collector's edition box with "all" the movies should include all the movies.

Ya..that was a letdown. I doubt we'll get a boxset anytime soon though. We can keep our fingers crossed for now!

You would have to get Universal to play nice with Fox. I don't think it's ever happened in my lifetime.

Fox / MGM still hasn't released review copies for Pink Panther (or any of their releases for 2/3/09, for that matter) yet. We are hoping it will arrive ASAP.

wow, guess this blu-ray got criminally overlooked on here.
anyway, it's only $10 on amazon right now.
lowest price I've ever seen this for, so, of course, I ordered a copy.

been monitoring the web for their announcement ever since the first one got out; it's strange that that there are no news yet.
the first one had great PQ and awesome extras.

i'm still waiting for a shot in the dark, one of my favorite comedies.

I watched The Pink Panther last night on blu-ray for the first time and I have to say it is an incredibly funny film and it looked tremendous considering its age. I was in tears of laughter at some points. I cannot wait for the sequel to be released on blu-ray, lets hope that it happens sometime soon!

There's some visible edge enhancement in the picture but it's not horrible and it's the only flaw that I perceived. Overall, it looked pretty great.

It looks like the BD release in the U.S. is 2.20:1 while the UK and other countries have it at 2.35:1. Is this true?
