The BD-P1400 hands down. It is much better then the BDP-S300 in just about every way.

1. faster load times
2. HDMI 1.3
3. bitstream support for DTS-HD MA and internally decodes Dolby TrueHD
4. built-in Ethernet port
5. cheaper price ($430 + free shipping through Amazon)
6. more elegant design then the BDP-S300 (IMO)

With specs like that how can you go wrong?

but what happens when profile 2.0 is made available, will the 1400 be able to update its firmware to take advantage of the new features?
