sony vs samsung

i got a movie that pauses every time on the sony player, but when it plays on the samsung it doesn't have that problem. are there some formats that the samung plays, that the sony can't play. need help.

yes its updated, yes its clean, lord of the rings, the bank job, and body of lies. i found these movies they are on a blu ray blank disc no menu, the movie starts off right away, the weird thing is the disc is not even full, as if they were downloaded from a website

So it was from a store, not an on-line purchase. Anyway, I don't think it's the player.

the play fine on the samsung player, and on the ps3, but skips on the sony player i am trying to get the model number
