Small Soldiers is Paramount's in the US.

I wasn't asking for it from Universal, to be honest I have no idea who has the rights to what when it comes to Dreamworks. Studio hopping gives me headaches.

I have also been seriously contemplating importing Small Soldiers from either the UK or Germany, so I was hoping that it too would get announced.

As for Dudley, I don't recollect stumbling across it on Blu anywhere.

Really? I didnt think it was all that bad. Oh, it was certainly nowhere near as witty or intelligent (and gloriously stupid) as the cartoon, but I was fine with it. Well, as much as I could remember - I saw it once when it first came out (in the local drive in, telling you how long ago that was)

I'm all over this when price drops below $10. I have a huge soft spot for this film but I know the transfer will be standard Universal catalogue mediocrity.

I have tons of nostalgia for this movie. I loved everything Rocky & Bullwinkle when I was around 10 years old, and this movie captures the unique self-aware humor of the show better than what you would think. It was written by Kenneth Lonergan long before he won his Oscar for Manchester by the Sea. The DVD looks surprisingly decent, but this will still be an easy purchase. This will actually be another movie I can say I've owned on VHS, DVD, and Blu-ray (if you include an off-air TV recording I taped).

I never understood the hate over this movie. I thought it was fun and better than a lot of other crap we got later. I'll definitely buy this when it comes out.

I never understood hating on any movie. People just need to be negative, I suppose, or they can't get a handle on the basic concept of different strokes for different folks.

Great to see Universal starting to support their back catalog more aggressively again. Now if they'll just start having some MOD 4 for 44 with free shipping sales like Warner Bros...

From what I've heard, it won't be. This and the other Universal catalog titles being released on May 15th will all be pressed.
