Filipino Films on Blu-ray

Really enjoyed watching Lino Brocka's INSIANG and MANILA IN THE CLAWS OF THE NIGHT, so I thought of hunting for other Filipino films on Blu-ray. Turns out there's not a lot. Here's what I found so far...

There were numerous b-z films filmed in the Philippines that have releases. I believe the entire Blood Island Collection (Severin) was filmed by mostly Filipino crews/actors in the Philippines for starters.

Peterson Vargas (2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten, Lisyun qng Geografia short)
Prime Cruz (Ang Manananggal sa Unit 23B, Sleepless)
Joseph Laban (Cuchera, Nuwebe, Baconaua)

All very deserving of blu releases, and those are just off the top of my head.

Le chat qui fume in France is going to be releasing Lino Brocka's "Bayan Ko" soon on 4K & BD. Not sure if it will be Region B locked or Region Free.

I'm really hoping for these films to get blu-ray releases at some point:

As far as I'm aware, none have been made available on Blu-Ray but I believe that the films restored by the ABS-CBN Film Restoration Project are available in HD on iTunes (and perhaps other digital platforms) worldwide.

The project is a victim of Duterte's authoritarian shut down of ABS-CBN, but they restored over 50 films since 2012. I would recommend Himala - probably the best Filipino film ever made - and Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos.

Went through this list and saw KAKABAKABA KA BA? on there which I saw on Amazon Prime a few months ago. Silly fun with some problematic stereotypes of other Asian nationals. Still valuable though as it is an interesting insight of what the Philippines think of its neighbours. :P

To the OP, instead of pasting images, why don't you just put the entry number for the specific discs inside the [ bd ] [ /bd ] flags. That way they become click-able links to the individual pages. As an example, you can display the Lino Brocka disc like this by simply inserting its entry number 167245 inside the bd flags:
