Whew long title.
Oftentimes the movies our parents put on for us really impacted our personalities and how we grew up. At least for me it did and when I was a young boy I would, like most kids, watch the same movies over and over and over again. I grew up with three movies in particular that have forever been engrained into who I am. These are The Mask, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and The Wizard of Oz. All three are really funny, but strange movies. It's because of these movies that my sense of humor was always a bit more sophisticated than my classmates and I was usually pegged as the funny kid. These movies also enhanced my imagination and allowed me to come up with games and stories that I could have never done if I was only shown any other movies. What about you all?! What were these movies and how did they effect you? |
