DTP Entertainment AG will be releasing a boxset of nine films on September 22, 2011. The boxset has no final specs on the technical side, but it will contain the following nine films over the span of 3 BD's:
I am excited that Mexican Werewolf in Texas is getting a Blu-ray release finally. I have never seen it, but I've been trying to get a DVD copy for years. ![]() Halloweenparty XXL Reloaded Blu-ray Last edited by OrlandoEastwood; 06-25-2011 at 02:09 PM. |

1. cut 2. cut (The uncut Version, and a 1 min shorter Version is 'Beschlagnahmt' in Germany since 2007. The FSK 16 is missing about 3 minutes. German Cutted-Report) 3. uncut, but DVD was German only, maybe BD too 4. uncut 5. cut, about 3 min. missing 6. cut, about 10 min. missing 7. uncut, the normal BD of this is 1080i 8. could be cut. Normal DVD FSK 18 9. cut. about 3 mins. missing The companies related to this titles are not known for high quality releases. Take my advice: Skip this Box! Edit: In Austria at http://www.dtm.at there are still uncut austrian DVDs of Mexican Werwolf avaible. For about 5 € per DVD excl. shipping. Last edited by MrBrown; 06-25-2011 at 07:07 AM. |

Yikes, that sucks that Mexican Werewolf in Texas is cut. I have the movie in my DVD queue on Netflix since it had forgotten about it until I saw it listed on the Halloween Party Blu-ray. I'll look up the other ones even though I haven't seen them.

According to the pre-order page and the cover art that Amazon.de has posted, the info on bluray-disc.de is incorrect. The box contains the following films:

Mhmm.. FSK 18, that would probably say following cut statistic:
1. uncut (normal FSK 12) 2. uncut (normal FSK 16) 3. uncut (normal FSK 16) 4. cut (cut versions seems having FSK 16, uncut versions seems having no rating at all. MAYBE the uncut is new Rated FSK 18, but all german languaged versions were cutted, yet) 5. uncut (normal FSK 18) 6. no informations found 7. uncut (normal FSK 18) 8. cut (FSK 18 and FAK 16 existing, both cutted, Austria has a not rated uncut version on DVD) 9. uncut (normal FSK 18) Still I would suggest to skip it. The lable is still not known for high quality releases. ![]() |

Thanks for the info, Mr. Brown. I have US double feature Blu-ray of The Haunting of Winchester House and I Am Omega, so I feel a little bummed that I at least own one of the titles in that set on Blu-ray. Given that we're still about three months away from the release, I'll give it some thought. There's been a horde of Night of the Living Dead Blu-rays out there since it's Public Domain. Out of the films in the set, I haven't seen; Zombie Night, Shallow Ground, Vampire Hunter, Legion of the Dead, and Awakening. If this set pops up on Grooves Inc for a decent price, say around $20 USD, I might give it a go.
