I am realy excited about this box set coming out i know a bunch of us grew up with transformers as kids and the first movie kicked a** and the second one looks like it will kick a** so if you want to relive your child hood get this set

I have been waiting for something like this to come out! Definitely going to buy this. Loved this show as a kid. So excited!

This looks interesting, I might just get it, but like someone else said, the price is probably gonna be RIDICULOUS!

Yep, definately buying this!

I never got the original releases and their prices got so freakin insane I never could pick them up.
Can't wait for the Gi-Joe complete footlocker series set as well!

Nice extras but I own this one already and it's got some sweet exclusives to Japan like all the original takara cartoon intros, dvd restoration footage and they throw transformers the movie in too. Pretty sweet if you don't count the gimmicky badge. http://www.yesallasian.com/product_612.html

I believe sametime, mid July. I think it's gonna be available first at comic con and the everywhere. Go to tvshowsondvd.com and the info is on there, search for Gi-Joe.

shout factory wanted to but the cost is still to much they are not a big company and you can get single season starting this sumer and wait till they all come out transformers season 1 is june 16 gi joe season 1.1 is july 21 both sets will be avalible at comic con then online for a sertin time then in BM stores

I just went ahead and ordered the version from China -- got it on Amazon for $75 shipped.

I like the Shout! Factory set, but was just too steep for me. I have to buy the G.I. Joe one, too, after all.

I've got the original dvds. Should have sold them when they were going near $100. I'm curious how much of a improvement this will be over the Rhino release.

Canadian version of Boomerang (teletoon retro) did a marathon yesterday showing the first 48 episodes stayed up from 6am to 6am watching em all
