I'm pretty sure it's the DCAU, not DCEU.

And it was an elseworlds story IIMN.

I know it's not DCEU but the comics took place before the first game. I was wondering if this will be a full on origin story or will it take place during one of the games

Curious about this too. I don't love the games, but the story is neat

What's still abso-freakin-lutely hilarious is how WB will let DC characters have more mature storylines in the comics, cartoons and games than they will in the movies. Because the stupid movie executives have never seen ANY of those and know nothing about the DC canon. They know nothing but the most basic mainstream stuff Batman and Superman have ever done, that your grandma knows about. So we can get an evil Superman, Joker slapping Harley, and Harley dating Poison Ivy in the comics and cartoons, but not in the movies. Such braindead idiots.

I'd love to see a Batman Who Laughs movie.

To hear the stuff they vetoed Snyder on, like the Superman black suit, is utterly ludicrous. They have no idea what some of the most popular, well-known concepts are in their own canon, if they were invented after the 1980s. Or when they almost vetoed Snyder's Aquaman because they obviously had no idea about the gritty, bearded '90s version of him.
