I know I had asked this before but didn't get many responses. Shooter is one of my favorite movies of all time. I like Mark Whalberg a lot too so that probably has something to do with it. Is there any movies similar to Shooter? Thanks.

If you mean a film where a good guy gets framed and has to uncover the bad guy(s) plot so that he can prove he's innocent and save the world? There's plenty of those out there.

Enemy at the Gates. Funny thing is, I just picked this up today. I remember watching it years ago and thought it was pretty good. Its cheap now so It won't break the bank. That said, there are a few of those types of movies. Maybe go to amazon and read some of tthe reviews on certain titles that interests you.

Mark Whalberg is also in Contraband, which was good too. Not much action, same type of feel as Shooter. It's more like a chess game type of action movie.

I don't think the movie is on Blu-Ray yet but Day of the Jackel is an excellent movie from 1972. Just make sure you seek out the original, not the mis-fire remake The Jackel.

Need to be more specific as too what it is you liked about it.

I felt Contraband to be extremely mediocre.

i do not remember the shooter too much. just that marky mark was chased by gorvenment people.

i always liked the hunted with tommy lee jones and benicio del toro. maybe that would do, if you have not seen it of course.
