Default Rocky on Blu-ray - Why so many, and what's the difference?

-We have a couple of stand-alones that don't seem to have matching art.
-We have a boxset, however Amazon reviews claim bad transfer.
-We have stand-alones of all movies released in 2010. Matching art.
-We have stand-alones of all movies released in 2011. Same art as above.

Can someone please tell me the difference? I'm looking to buy the trilogy but I want the highest possible quality.. and i'm not sure the difference between these.

Is it safe to just buy the boxset, are they same as all the others?
