What is yours?
Inspired to ask after just picking up the new release box set of the Spiderman trilogy from a HMV store for a mere £8! HMV have also given me loads of other cheap bargains as well this year in their sales. Last edited by phil4853; 10-21-2012 at 10:26 AM. |

Godfather Boxset - £13.45
Three Colours Trilogy - £13.45 Predators Trilogy - £6.97 Infernal Affairs Trilogy - £14.95 & the steal of the year: Tarantino Set (5 films) - £5.99 (thanks Chip!) Thanks to Zavvi for the stupidly cheap pricing and Amazon for their price screw up. Last edited by Sinthetic; 10-21-2012 at 10:46 AM. |

I got the Terminator Salvation steelbook sealed for £13. Not an especially cheap blu ray but for a long sold out play.com exclusive I was very happy with that. When I'd looked around beforehand it had always been £40 minimum.
I also got ten great films on blu ray for about fifty quid at the start of the year. Market place seller on Amazon was selling loads of great and relatively new films at a dirt cheap price so I ended up buying loads from him. All sealed, all about a fiver including postage. Next time I looked at his page his prices had gone up ![]() Magical Mystery Tour Limited Edition from Amazon was a good deal at £30 pre-ordered. About £15-20 cheaper than other sites and had some great content. |

I used to use Zavvi because of their great prices but with me they seemed to always claim a great price, I'd order it and then weeks later they'd tell me that they didn't have the item I'd ordered in stock. After that had happened 3 times in 4 orders I just gave up with them. They really took the piss when I pre-ordered something and they didn't dispatch it until a week and a half after it's release date.

The Alien Anthology (6 discs) £13 & the Warner Western Box for £15 (£3 a movie!). It used to be I wouldn't go over £10 for a movie, now it's £8 unless it's a special case like Lawrence Of Arabia for £11.

I got the Priest steelbook, brand new and sealed from HMV Birmingham Bull Ring last Friday for £3
Not a great film, but a great bargain The bloke who served me seemed to think a lot of blu-rays were this price, and that we was going to consider upgrading from DVD |

Mine would have to be: Limitless £3.50 (Brand new and sealed including the lenticular slipcover) Tucker And Dale Vs Evil £2.00 My other half wasn't that keen on either film but I happened to enjoy them both and for those prices on BD I definitely can't complain! |

It was a well remembered night at the end of July. The Tarantino set and Die Hard Quadrilogy for £5.99 each. Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D for £3.99 and I even ordered The Bourne box set on DVD by mistake. Plus 10% off for first-time orders!
I still visit Sainsbury's on-line in the middle-of-the-night for a repeat performance but it hasn't happened since. But it's now proven that insomnia isn't just good for joining Fight Club's, creating imaginary friends and shooting your partner because if you could actually see through the fog you're just too tired to care.... As for other bargains if my Blade Runner Collector's Edition makes it way from Canada in one-piece I'll be thrilled to bits as it was just under £15 not including postage. |
