Default This is annoying me now...

So, I've just downloaded this and am using it as a desktop wallpaper...
http://www.hopewellstudios.com/image...swalle1450.jpg

And I noticed, this small red robot off to the side. I know that I have seen it in a movie, one which I enjoyed as a kid, but I can't remember the name of said movie, and it's racking my brain thinking about it. Anyone know which movie it is from?

Darn...If you'd asked me to name 80% of the others I could tell you (they even included Ludwig!), but that one, I'm just blanking.

If any of the others stump you, feel free to ask.

Only the one I mentioned is the one that is annoying me.

80% of the others I know, some of them I don't, but don't look familiar. It's just that red one that is annoyinly familiar, but I just can't place the name of the movie it is from!

Looks nothing like the Lost In Space robot. Infact, both versions of the Lost In Space robot are in the main picture, up in the top left. But they are not the robot that this thread was created about.

(Wow, you spotted Peace, Nomad, Huey & Dewey, 7-Zark-7, B.E.N., Rover, Muffy, Secret Agent Clank, Robot's evil girlfriend from the old Lost in Space, Robotman, the Undersea Kingdom boiler tanks, JJ Abrams' Bad Robot, both Marvins and the robots from "Millennium", "Judge Dredd" and "Saturn 3"?
You're a worthy man for the challenge. )

No, 1964 Robot is in the back row, and 1998 Robot is down and to the left, just under the Laputa guardian.

You're welcome. I probably wouldn't have known it because I only saw the movie only once back in the early 90s. ut the other day, I was scrolling through the movies on Hulu Desktop and saw it on there.

And thanks for posting the pic. Seeing Dick Spanner on there made me think to check amazon.co.uk for Dick Spanner PI. I'll have to get that since I just paid the second installment on my property taxes.

Looking at the full size picture again, there is a brown robot on the right hand side, that looks like it could be an R2D2 rip-off that I recognise. Any ideas?

Spoilered for those who want to find him for themselves. he blends in with things a bit.

[Show spoiler]Find K-9 from Dr Who and the Cylon from the original Battlestar Galactica. Look to the left in between them

Which white robot, Agent Bond? There are several.

Remember, they go from tallest to smallest:
He's
[Show spoiler]in the second row middle back, to the right of V.I.N.CENT. and Bad Robot, to the left of Old-School Cylon, and right behind K9 and...whatever his name was from M.A.S.K.

(And darn, missed M.A.M.M.A. completely! )

Thanks very much, but I am unfamiliar with those characters and therefore unable to use them as mapping points.

Can you give me a North/south/East/West quadrant, or perhaps some other robots? I'm looking really hard and not being lazy...I just cant see him.

I just spotted Arnold/Terminator.

Edit: I looked up Images of K9 and found him...then spotted Wall-E.

Thanks!
