Hey everyone,
I am looking to move into the 4K world, although I have a budget. I already know OLED is out. Is it even worth going 4K if I only have $700-$800 to spend, or should I just buy more Blu-rays? I mean, even if I had $3000 I could never justify dropping it on a TV. Does anyone in here have any recommendations for decent budget 4K TVs? I find when I search this question online most of the TVs mentioned are not sold in Canada or are much more money here, even after the dolalr conversion. For size I would probably be looking at 55" or so, give or take. I know I want a TV that has HDR, but should I also be looking for HDR10 and/or Dolby Vision. Anything else that is a requirement? Any brands that are better than others? I also will be looking for an Ultra HD player, so any recommendations for that would be much appreciated as well. I can say I don't need a player that plays region free Blu-rays, Region A is fine. And yes, I know Ultra HDs are all region free. Thanks! |
