Vegas Baby, Vegas
Default I can't watch TV - almost

Since getting my HDTV I can't watch regular TV (COX CABLE). I was excited and got the HD DVR and expected fireworks.

Instead, I get about 15 channels of HD and 200 of crap. I'm glad the networks are in HD (although they seem to push non-HD crap often).

But geez, anyone else having trouble watching plain TV?

And I'm really not interested in watching sports too much anymore, so that cancels out 25% of the programming at least.

If not for the Discovery channel, PBS HD and a couple shows on the main networks (LOST, Prison Break, etc) I'd cancel TV completely and just watch BLUS and upscaled SDs.

On the plus side, I'm watching more nature shows and documentaries (via PBS HD). I actually watched Sunrise Earth this morning.
