on Monday i start training for my new job (same company) in a somewhat new field. my current job is "General Labor" at a big time factory plastics company. this has been my first factory experience and i was amazed by a lot. what was i most amazed by?

the amount of times i got to say "That's what she said!" to something my co-workers were saying about any particular job or situation they were working in. so i give to you, some of the best "TWSS!" i was able to deliver in the last few months on the factory floor.

hopefully, in the office (where i'm transferring to), there will be different situations for more TWSS moments

and yes, all of these are word for word, exactly what was said. i know, because i had a notepad on me after the work three weeks of missing pure gold, and every time i heard one, i'd write it down

"don't touch the vibrating horn!"

"this is too big. it won't fit."

"what are you doing in there?"

"i don't know what's worse, the smell or the sight"

"typical. i give all i have and what do i get? told it didn't account for much"

"nothing could be worse than this right now"

"ugh. it tastes like fish and spray paint!"

"if only i had one more inch!" (personal favorite. and don't we all wish that

)

"my wrist hurts from doing this"

"if it doesn't fit. break it in half and try again" ( )

"it's not supposed to be loose. it has to be tight! if it's not tight, they're gonna give it right back to us!"
- try not laughing when the female manager saying this is dead serious

"if you knew what you were doing, i wouldn't have to do it for you!"

"it's gonna take more than you three to finish this"

"i wish i could feel it so i know if it's good or not"

"they're gonna give us, exactly what we gave them. but it's not gonna be nearly as good and we just gotta accept it!"
(about parts being returned)

"it fell on my foot and i couldn't move the b@st@rd! heaviest thing i've ever felt!"

"the blueprints were completely different from what they told me it would be like in there. so far, every one i've been in, has been nothing like the pictures showed"

"slam it on the table until it cracks!"

"these tools are much better at getting the job done than your hands are"

and last but not least, one that happened about four hours ago:

"i can't do this anymore, my finger is tired"
