Default Kid's movies for Adults?

I just bought Megamind on Blu Ray and I have to say --- Wow. I really underestimated how good these animations would look on BD. So, my question is, what are some other "kid" animation movies that are not too kiddie for adults to really get in to?

Literally any Pixar movie. With few exceptions, I have a hard time watching them wondering what kids would get out of them other than the animation. Almost all of them deal with adult subjects and tug at emotional levels that kids wouldn't understand. 'Up' being one that really comes to mind.

I suppose kids would mostly enjoy the latter half of the movie, who cant love a bunch of talking dogs?

Anyways, Fantasia and the other Disney golden age films are a good choice.

How To Train Your Dragon is an excellent action/adventure disguised as a kid's flick. Definitely one to play LOUD!

Despicable Me is one of my favorites. Also enjoyed Tangled and Coraline.

Also agree with notops on HTTYD--watched that again the other night--the louder the better.

It's only a kids film if you've got the wrong mentality.

"Oh look it's a kids film, it's not worth watching" wrong, an adult can enjoy the film as much as the kid did.

List:
- Pinocchio
- The Incredibles
- Finding Nemo
- Tarzan
- Spongebob Squarepants

I believe our most concise comment about Pixar and the Vintage Disneys on Blu-ray would be a long, disbelieving stare at your Megamind copy and a statement beginning "If you liked THAT mess.... "

Haha, like I said, I think that it's really the pq that made me like it so much. I admit that I'm one of the one's that looked at Tangled or Coraline or Ratatouille and discarded them because of the kid aspect.

I'd highly recommend Wallace & Gromit: The Complete Collection. It contains 4 short films and a tonne of extras and you can often pick it up for around $10.00.

Hehehh...Boy, are YOU going to get ready for the public apology.
(Tangled's particularly good-looking in the 3-D, if you can, and I've only seen the anaglyph version of Coraline but not the active-shutter.)
