I'm a young guy and I haven't seen a lot of old movies. I'm wondering what "classics" I need to pick up and check out. I'd like to start with movies that are either already released or scheduled for release. So far I've got a couple on my list...
1) Wizard of Oz 2) Casablanca 3) Alien (1979) 4) 5) 6) 7) 8) 9) 10) What do you think? If you have suggestions, it might be helpful to explain why the movie is a classic worthy of continued attention Edit: Other suggestions multiple times A Clockwork Orange 2001: A space odessey Citizen Kane Maltese Falcon Seven Samurai The Godfather: I, II Star Wars Taxi Driver Dr. Strangelove: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb7) Last edited by djkest; 07-18-2011 at 06:44 PM.
