Still holding onto my DVDs of Airplane and Airplane II: The Sequel for this very reason. If they do get released on BD let's hope they get a remaster because the DVDs don't look that great. I never bought The Naked Gun on DVD, but I'd buy the whole series on BD for sure.

Only a few of Leslie's films are on the superior format, Forbidden Planet, Creepshow, hate to mention Stan Helsing but he was in that one too.

huh, yeah i mean we (I) do need airplanes in blu, as well as top secrets and the two hot shots (the second being my favorite). i think the zuckers brothers with jim abraham was the best thing since mel brook in comedy.and i do miss theses days. really didnt liked what came from them after this period. but still .

and of course we do need a naked gun bluray boxset. im buying!

We should get an Ultimate Police Squad Box Set on Blu-ray. The Naked Gun Trilogy and Police Squad! are all owned by Paramount.

Same goes for Airplane!, we should get a double feature for that too.

I'd buy all 3 Naked Guns and both Airplanes on Blu, day-1.

These are classic comedies and a crime they aren't on Blu yet. Both would be big sellers.

It'd be nice if they included all the deleted scenes (which show up on TV) as extras. They included some on the Airplane! Special Edition but, like all the other extras on the disc, you can only access them during the film. Hopefully, this'll be rectified for Blu.

And we can't forget the Zucker Brothers other Paramount production: Brain Donors.

I want to buy all Naked Gun movies a lot and i can't help waiting their coming on Blu-Ray. I especially interested in deleted TV scenes, and it'll be very good if they are included in the Blu-Ray release as features. Paramount, release these movies on Blu as soon as possible, please!

Airplane and the first Naked Gun have been announced by Paramount for a September 26th release in the UK.

Expect a US announcement soon...
