Region-free my foot. When you click on the link to buy, it takes you to the Amazon listing for it, which lists it as PAL and the subtitles are region-free.

There's no such thing as PAL when dealing with HD content. Amazon region coding information for blu rays is quite often incorrect. Not to mention it was confirmed region free by a member on this site.

Amazon often get their specifications wrong. I'm pretty sure it's out already though as guys have mentioned watching it! Strange Amazon.com say it's out in January and ours says it was released nearly 2 months ago!

Other sites have it down as the November 19th, 2012 as well.

It's possible but both listings have the same ASIN so they're the same product. They have the same EAN as well.

Amazon.com lists the title as import. So, I guess this is the UK release which is imported and released by a company in the US.

It will be the same BD that is available now which is already region free, obviously Amazon.com are importing stock to the US and will have it available from the end of January but at that price you would be much better off ordering from Amazon.co.uk

It's a decent enough 3.5/5 on the transfer front for me. It won't win any awards, but I thoroughly enjoyed the movie without being distracted by anything obvious.
