Idon't know about the 10 model, but i have the 505 in the link above, and its a good sub plenty of power.I'd get that so you don't wish later on you had a bigger sub. They are running a promo this weekend you can this sub for $199.99 plus free shipping.Just my 2 cents, but thats what i would do,good luck !

I have the PSW10 model subwoofer (see my gallery for pics). It's not a bad sub, but is definitely designed for smaller rooms. It has only 100w peak and 50w continuous power so it's not going to alter anyone's heart rhythm. I'm one who doesn't care much for BOOMING bass even with explosions, so this offers decent low-end without becoming too overwhelming. That having been said, if you do have a larger room, the PSW10 isn't going to fill up your space. You can certainly get better and more powerful subs out there, but overall it has received good reviews for what it is. Hope this helps some

I received one of these subs free when buying some LSi bookshelf speakers a while back and I agree with umich08, it is adequate but not a good sub. I wouldn't consider it an upgrade from much of anything except no sub at all. I didn't find it overly boomy, but that is almost certainly because it doesn't go that low. It will fill in the bottom well with some smaller satellite type speakers, but I found that it could easily be stressed with very low bass.
