Default Grand Canyon (release JA 31/12)

Casdan's "Grand Canyon" was released today. The jacket says 1080i but the review by Martin Liebman says it's 1080p. Is it that much more of an expense for them to have given us a progressive scan product? I'm still learning.
Thanks in advance.

Well assuming Martin is correct, it is progressive and the jacket info is just a misprint.
