If the slipcover turned out to be exactly the same artwork as on the paper cover on the plastic packaging, then yes. No point in have a cardboard version of a default cover, when the default cover itself would look the same.

i absolutely hate slipcovers... some of them look cool but i hate the fact of having to take them off to open the case and get the movie... funny thing is i threw away so many of them before i realized that people actually pay money for them lol... i don't mind slipboxes though... i threw the bourne trilogy slipbox away by accident and wish i hadn't
