I don't know about you guys but i'm ADDICTED to buying BluRays!!...Im constantly on eBay checking for deals....Futureshop BestBuy are frequented at least 3x a week!!!...LOL...Anyone else in this boat?

Welcome to Blu-Ray.com! Yes I think we are all addicted.

First it started with buying 1 movie TDK. Then watching the previews to other movies, to searching the internet and stumbbled here and reading the forums to movies that are coming out where you can find them cheaper on the trading forum. Then you decided to upgrade your TV speakers with a 3.1 setup which is soon to be a 5.1. Now I'm addicted to SteelBooks! The list goes on and on!

Yes Steelbooks...I just bought my first with Transformers 2.....Do you know if theres a GI Joe steel at futureshop tomorrow?

I've been in the blu ray boat for a while now but what is the most addicting to me is those beautiful Future Shop and MediaMarkt steelbooks

. If you get hooked on steelbooks you are gonna be screwed..unless you got a money tree in your backyard

I said I wasn't when I moved to buying a ton of Blus.

I said I wasn't when I started double dipping my DVDs to Blus

I said maybe I am when I started double dipping my Blus to the Blu upgrades

Maybe I need to enter myself into the nearest hospital

I just looked at the size of your collection and it is around five times the size of mine, but I have been buying blu's for around a year longer then you have.

I guess i'm not addicted to blu ray buying, I sure am to blu ray watching though.

Yeah, I think I need to do the opposite like watching them rather than buying them.

I finally got around to opening and watching Transporter lastnight. Hopefully I can watch part 2.

Transporter 1 and 2 were great! Third one was kind of boring for some reason.

The director of the first two films went of to direct The Incredible Hulk and we where left in less capable hands. When the action starts cutting using bright flashes was my oh uh moment in Transporter 3.

The incredible hulk has amazing audio quality, as well as video. Prepare to have your mouth drop.

Looking forward to it! I don't know I had this movie for a few months but I was never a fan of the franchise so I'm not sure why it's holding me back on watching it.

I have to agree and admit that I'm addicted to buying Blu-Rays. It all started when I bought The Dark Knight, and ever since then I've been buying Blus like crazy... wish I could have as many movies as some people have in here, but oh well I ain't that rich = )

I used to be, but got over it. When I first started buying Blu-ray discs in 2007 I would do the same thing. I would buy stuff that i would NEVER buy now. I think it had to do with the limited amount that was available. Now I have just gotten to the point that I buy one to three movies a month. Nothing extreme. I haven't counted lately, but I hit over 100 DBs a long time ago. I might just be close to 200 by now. Funny thing is, I wouldn't think anything of going to Best Buy and spending $30 on a BD. That was just what the pricing was. Now it is all about who has the cheapest price and this forum is a pretty good tool for finding that. No need so go scouring the internet. If somebody finds a deal, they will let you know.

Guess you could call me addicted also. Like you guys, I'm constantly scanning Ebay, Futureshop, Craigslist for Blu-ray deals. I've recently started double dipping. (I said I'd never do that) I have only been collecting for about 1.5 years. Lucky I have an amazing wife who lets me!!!!!!

Funny thread. I guess most of us here are addicted to watching blu-rays. I can't seem to feed my BD players enough of them. It could be worse, I suppose. I could have a crack addiction or something.

I'm constantly watching and bidding on blu-ray lots on ebay. I spent quite a bit this year on a/v equipment, now i'm getting cheap on the material. haha, nah I just can't see paying $20-30 at BB and such, for good films when I can usually find them for around $8-15 just by searching around the web and ebay. My small collection is slowly growing one deal at a time...or in some cases, 8-10 at a time
