Apple TV. It's compact and it works well. Apple really needs to better develop the product though. It still has a lot of room for improvement.

My PS3, Panasonic HDTV and Wii also all have Netflix streaming ability, though none work as well as the Apple TV.

I have the WD LIVE, I like it, but I wish I would have gotten the Live plus that has the built in 1tb, I had already purchased a seperate media storage unit though. I don't mind the menu on the WD, it's a bit clunky, but i've never had it not do what I asked. The ps3 and xbox are both picky as to what they want to play, and inconsistant, one day i will be able to stream something, the next it's not available as a choice =\

HDMI cable from laptop to receiver.

It's nice never having to worry about codecs. I also use a 8gb flash drvie with my bluray player sometimes.

Directly from my PC.... HDMI out to my tv. I also use my 360's to stream photo slideshows to the other tv's in my house when I am having parties. People love seeing photos of themselves snd friends at previous parties.

Not exactly a PC to TV solution, but I use a Kaleidescape for streaming my BluRay, DVD and CD collection to the TV sets in my house.

My PS3 is my number 1 streaming media device! Then comes my standalone blu ray player and lastly my LCD.
