Default For those waiting on WB orders

I know alot of us have been looking for word on our orders. I don't mind waiting on WB to get their problems worked out, but their customer service is at best poor.

I currently have 8 orders with them with a total of over 30 BD movies. The first is from almost 4 weeks ago. As some of the titles in my orders have come to local stores, I purchased them and then cx my order with WB with those movies(since you can't change an order). Each time I have talked to WB customer service they seem to have a different answer (I feel for them just doing their job, but tell the truth) as to the problem with the orders. To date I have cx 5 orders, the first on 9/18/07 and yet they all still exist in their system. I have confirmed many times that the orders have been cx, yet my card still has the pending charges and the orders still show up on their express checkout site. My order totals are just over $600.00 at this point.

Now the reason I post this, is not to complain, I am happy that WB is supporting Blu, but to let others know that if you cx'ed an order you may be in the same boat. Not only that, but here is an e-mail I just got from them for an order that was cx'ed a week ago(confirmed cx also). Just look at the expected delivery date.

I hope they get their issuses worked out, and I am luckly that the money they are still charging me for all orders is not a problem, but for others it may be, so just keep an eye out on your orders. Again, not complaining, but some of you may be glad for the info and I'm still very happy to see WB is trying with Blu.....................................lossless would be nice though. Later.

The last part of the email ("expect to ship within 30 days") was almost certainly "boilerplate" that is in all the emails they send out. I have a number of orders at Warners and I'm sticking with them. The prices are too good to give up on. Some folks may end up cancelling their orders and, within a few days, begin to see postings here from folks who have received their orders.

Yes Whip, I was just thinking about posting an edit saying that maybe this is also a good sign that they are actually working on the orders. My problem is that I have ordered so many movies, that when I buy a movie from a local store and have to cx an existing order, I then reorder the balance of BD's that were on the first order. That then throws the whole system in a mess (for my orders anyway ). I'm sure they will get it worked out soon.

I remember getting a similar email when I ordered Planet Earth when it was first released. However, I then got a shipping confirmation within 24 hours of the backorder email....

confusing...

I will agree that trying to cancel an order with them is hard....took 2 emails and 2 calls to cancel half an order i had placed several months ago. I can wait for the movies and will not go through the hassle of buying at a store then cancelling, especially when i am saving $5+ a DVD from WB.

Had the same issue, sent email to cancel and called them up to cancel it too. The next day the charges that were pending on my credit card dissappeared. Still haven't gotten an email yet, but I don't see any pending charges anymore, so I'm trusting it was canceled. If not, I'll just send them back.

I'm still waiting to hear if Warner is going to release "The Exorcist" on Blu-ray besides HD-DVD.
