Hi, can anyone answer my question please? Would a ps3 still carry on playing blurays if the format became obsolete around the same time/before ps3 is obsolete. For example, in five years time at end of 10 year ps3 cycle would firmware still be provided for people that watch blu on their ps3? There seems to be a lot of bluray players that have problems with certain discs and i fully intend to be still watching my discs in 10 years time. Would there be any obstacles to me doing that on a ps3? Presuming of course that bluray was obsolete. I have a nagging feeling that ps4 will not support bluray. Sorry to waffle, the question of ps3 providing me with at least a decade of bluray watching is important to me. Would appreciate any answers or suggestions, cheers
