Default Best Buy high def mailer... no HD DVD players or movies

I have to share this, it's just too good. I just received a Hi-def promo. mailer from Best Buy yesterday. Inside are some T.V.'s, Universal remotes, Blu-ray players, and a few coupons. I expected them to list a few HD-DUD movies and players but they aren't on there. They mention HD-DUD only once in text only. They have a freakin picture of a Samsung upscaling DVD player but on HD-DUD's!!! I view this as hilarious and fantastic.

Are these coupons for the weekend only or like a three day sale? Could they possibly know your purchasing habits? I don't know if Best Buy would go out of their way to send Blu-ray purchasers a Blu-ray only flyer with coupons and HD DVD buyers an HD DVD one. Were the coupons good for movies?

I would love to but I don't have a scanner. This has to be a general mailer. I bought my t.v. from Best Buy but my player I bought from Target so I know they're not targeting Blu-ray purchasers.

The coupons are:
#1 10% off all Flat Panel T.V.'s, home theater systems, speakers, home audio components and DVD players.
#2 15% off any Furniture items $99 & up and all video or audio accessories.
#3 10% off movies (including Blu-ray and HD-DUD movies) Limit 3

These are all good through 10/10/07

Retailers have spoken again. This is just more confirmation that the cheap low-ball approach of HD-DVD is not working. They need to move bigger, more expensive units to realize any kind of profit margin. There is no incentive for them to bust their tails moving a few $200 HD-DVD units.

I'm going to assume that this was a joke. The PS3 is the best answer for a lot of people right now, and frankly is one of the many reasons we are winning the war.
