Default Terminator 4

A Terminator movie without Ahhhhnold? Could it work? Stay tuned I guess.

http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=37702

"James Middleton, who is overseeing the development of Terminator 4, has given an update on the fourth film, which is intended to be the first of three new movies."

First of 3 new movies? Uh oh, sounds like milkage.

"The movie will feature a new hero. Middleton said the new hero would be like how "Ben-Hur was influenced by Jesus Christ, but it was his story. Much in that way, this character will be influenced by John Connor.""

Does this rule out the return of Kyle Reese? It would be awesome to Michael Biehn reprise the role although he may be to old now.

Anyone looking forward to T4?

As long as we finally get to see the Robot wars I'll be going to the theatres. I was looking forward to see at least some of it in T3 and then the movie just ended right before it really gets interesting... But 3 movies...?

Have to say first I love the Terminator movies. The original would be my favourite. Also a massive Arnie fan. The only way I could see it working with out the Governor himself would be not to set it in our time, no time travel. It has to be the future war with the machines.

Although I have serious doubts about T4 (not to mention a T5 and T6) I am still very excited to see it!

If the story is done right they could be very successful movies and a ton of fun to see at the theaters.

All I ever wanted to see was more footage on the robot wars. Especially based on what was shown in T2. A trilogy about that could be awesome if they keep the same look and feel the movies briefly showed of it.

Exactly. How low was everyone's expectations for T3. That turned out okay.

I want it to be good... But I fear that it wont...

T3 wasn't great. It can only go down hill...

T2 was the best by far.........

this film had been in development since T3 was released. Nick stahl and Claire danes signed a contract to do two films. Ahnuld however, mentioned that the Rock should take over for him.

but its been quite sometime now. lets just see what they are going to have in store for T4.

My first reacting is JOY! then after that it's cautious optimism. I love all 3 Terminator movies, I'm just not sure how any additional movies will be as good without Arnold...

Terminator is classic, T2 is one of the best films ever made, T3 was good, but without cameron, it did suffer a little, T4-T6 will be awesome, it will be the story of Kyle Reese, and John as the leader of the resistence, not to mention full scale terminator/human battle, its cool because you could watch 4-6 before you watch 1-3 im hoping if they do the trilogy, one of two things happen, part 6 ends with Arnie going back to 1984, or it ends with them stopping arnie from going back, thus the war never happens and the future gets changed back

I think that would be cool. Maybe Arnie will make cameo appearances in the movies even if he won't be a main character.

I completely agree. It's a massive part of the story not really touched upon yet in film.

I didn't like T3 it was nothing compared to T2. Linda Hamilton Def should have been in Terminator 3 it would have been so much better.

I'm interested to see how this story would develop given how T3 ended. I like that it is set in the post apocalyptic world, after the war at the end of T3. If they got the Rock to replace Arnie that may or may not be a good thing.

I'd be willing to check out another Terminator movie. Futuristic robot wars would be awesome regardless of who the actors are, although Arnie should do at least a cameo to kind of figuratively give the movie his blessing.
