So help me out guys.
I swore to myself I'd cut back on DVD/Blu-ray spending, and I haven't bought a TV on DVD set in months, which is good since there are some I've held onto for YEARS. Been watching shows on Netflix while trying to catch up Magnum P.I., Black Donnellys, Millennium and Home Improvement. Still, I still need Everwood Seasons 3 and 4 and Everwood 3 is $13.49. Problem is the two years I got for signing up as a Student Amazon Prime user just ran out. I've got some pre-orders locked in for the 2 days shipping with no minimum cost, but no more after. One of those is for "THOR", and I don't care if I get that the day it comes out. If I order Everwood and re-order Thor at the same time, I get free shipping, even though they're separate. That trick I used all the time. What if I cancel that Thor after the fact though. Will they retroactively charge me for needing to ship Everwood? |

Yes, what I meant was that if I don't get THOR via Prime on release date, it doesn't matter. I would have been fine with waiting for super saver shipping on it.
As long as an order is over $25 you get super saver shipping. Sometimes though I would 'trick it' by purchasing something in the moment, and pre-ordering another item. They would ask if I want my items faster or at the same time and sometimes ship the item currently available to me immediately, and wait till release date of course on item #2. And my question was yes, if I devalued the order after Everwood shipped, would I then be charged. I ended up not buying it anyway. I have enough things to watch right now. |

As far as I know, Amazon will charge you if you decide to cancel an item that lowers your purchase total below $25.
Here is what Amazon says on their FSSS help page: Canceling items, combining orders, or changing your shipping address, speed, or preference might affect your order's eligibility for Super Saver Shipping. You will not receive FREE Super Saver Shipping on your order if any eligible items are canceled, bringing the total below $25. Anyway, moot point because you decided not to order but I guess this could be good to know for the future, right? ![]() |
